My dearest girl,
You're going to be a big sister soon. In just 6 short months, life as you know it will change drastically! I struggle with the same thing every mother of one does at first...How in the world will I love another baby as much as I love you? I've heard, my sweet girl, that a mother's heart grows even bigger on that second child's birth day. Nothing gets taken away from you.
You truly are my precious miracle from God. You came into this world at a perfect time in your daddy and I's life. We overcame many struggles physically and emotionally to get you here. There was a time in my life that I didn't think any babies would be running through our house. You were prayed for everyday before you got here. Even now, I thank God every single day that you are in my life. Not a day goes by that I am not reminded that you are our perfect miracle.
I know you don't understand what is going on right now. You don't get why mommy yells at you to get out of the bathroom when she is clearly sitting on the floor in front of the toilet having play time.. You don't get why mommy asks you to be careful and not jump on her tummy anymore. You certainly don't get why mommy has a hard time carrying your chubby self around for too long. But what you do get are extra kisses, tighter hugs, and silly tickles as mommy and daddy get you ready for a big life change in more ways than one.
More things in our life are going to change than just a new brother or sister coming. In about 3 months your daddy is going away for a while. It will seem like forever to both you and I, but I assure you, time will fly. Mommy has done this before. I won't lie to you though, mommy is scared! It's gonna be just me and you for a while kiddo. I think once the new baby comes the time will start to fly.
You know your daddy is amazing right? Of course you do! I see how much you love him by how you interact with him. I'm not sure who's heart is going to break more when he goes. Your daddy is pretty nervous about leaving you, baby. But your daddy is a hero! Not the kind that wears capes, he's the kind that wears camo and boots. I am so proud of him and I know you will be too when you get a little bigger and can understand a little more. The time is gonna fly though and we will make the best of it! We will plan lots of fun days and we will chat with daddy on the webcam as much as we can! I know you like to FaceTime on the phones, so I think you will like seeing daddy on a big screen.
My girl, there's nobody in the world like you. No one could ever replace my love for you. You are my sunshine and constantly light up my life.
We can do this, babygirl.
Just you and me.

Word's out..
I had another ultrasound today.
Baby looks perfect!
To be honest, I was a MAJOR wreck on my way to the appointment.
Hubby is gone on Army training, has been for 2 weeks now.
I called and left him a voice mail on my drive,
although I regretted it because I fell apart and tried to speak through crying.
I've definitely hit the emotional part of pregnancy.
I got to the ultrasound and heard the most perfect sound.
A heartbeat of 174.
Baby was such a wiggle worm too!
The tech couldn't get proper measurements because baby wouldn't hold still.
Waving it's little arms and legs and swimming all around.
Once again, I lost it and my heart was so grateful.
I lost track of what was going on and just repeated in my head,
Thank you, Jesus.
Thank you, Jesus.
Peace.
He always gives peace.
"Ask and you shall receive."
I am so grateful for this new miracle.

How I found out
I still am over the moon that there is another little bean in there!
It makes me realize how big my Lily is!
Where the heck did my tiny baby go?!
So I was expecting my period on March 30 and by April 2 I knew something was up.
I had dealt with a terrible migraine on the 29th. I don't think I have ever had a migraine in my life. The headache was so bad I was pretty much useless the whole day. My hubby went fishing with his dad and I was at home with babygirl. I literally laid around all day and tried to find things to keep babygirl occupied so I could have some quiet time.
A few more days passed and nothing was going on in the female department.
I knew testing on April 1st would be silly and hubby probably wouldn't believe me.
On April 2 at work, hubby text me and asked if I was still late. I responded with a 'Yes, but don't get your hopes up just in case.'
Immediately after this text, I was in the bathroom with a pregnancy test.
Very quickly it showed up positive.
This was about 4pm.
With all 3 of my previous pregnancies, I didn't get a positive until I was 6 weeks along and it had to be first morning urine. But I had been peeing all.day.long.
So as soon as I got home I said hello to hubby and walked straight into the bathroom to test again.
Once again, a positive showed up quickly.
I couldn't contain it anymore.
I walked straight out to hubby and said,
"How much do you love me? One or two lines worth?"

Two feet
A baby!
and we could not be happier!
The next few weeks will be an emotional time for the hubby and I due to our pregnancy history but we are trusting and believing in God that this new life is in His hands.
He saw fit to bless us with another miracle.
The timing couldn't have been more perfect.
